Expanding the Geospatial Intelligence Platform
Stellaria is developing an AI operating system for geospatial intelligence that combines satellite imagery, geospatial data, AI models, and analytical workflows on a single platform.
The technology is designed to transform large volumes of satellite and geospatial data into actionable intelligence. This helps organizations detect, analyze, and understand activity across the physical world.
Its capabilities include AI-powered satellite imagery analysis, super-resolution, automated target recognition, maritime and port intelligence, satellite-derived bathymetry, and environmental monitoring.
The company also offers its proprietary Stella platform as part of its broader technology stack.
Strategic Growth and Innovation
Founded by Dr. Ali AlHammadi, Stellaria said the latest investment will allow it to accelerate product development. It aims to build technology capable of competing in international markets.
“This funding marks an important milestone in Stellaria’s journey and reflects the confidence our investors have placed in our technology and the team behind it,” said AlHammadi, Founder and CEO of Stellaria.

He added that the company aims to build globally relevant space and AI technology from the UAE. It also contributes to the country’s growing position as a hub for advanced innovation.
The company was previously known as Farmin and has expanded its focus across space technology, artificial intelligence, and intelligence services.
Market Impact
Its solutions are applicable across several sectors, including government, defence, maritime and ports, infrastructure, and environmental monitoring.
Stellaria is also an alumnus of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund’s Innovation Accelerator Program. There, it received mentorship, strategic guidance, and ecosystem connections to support its development.
The company said this support contributed to its ability to strengthen capabilities as it moved from an early-stage UAE startup toward a more specialised technology company.
The new capital will now be used to further develop Stellaria’s technology, recruit specialised talent, and expand its solutions into additional markets.
Why It Matters
Stellaria’s funding highlights the growing intersection of AI, satellite data, and a modern geospatial intelligence platform in the UAE’s technology ecosystem.
As governments, infrastructure operators, and businesses increasingly rely on real-time information about physical environments, AI-powered analysis could become an important tool for areas ranging from defence to infrastructure management.
For the UAE, Stellaria also reflects the country’s broader ambition to develop home-grown AI and space technologies with international applications.
