The launch expands Network International's payment solutions for merchants. It gives consumers another way to manage larger and everyday purchases through their existing credit cards.
Slice allows eligible customers to convert qualifying credit card purchases into instalments without redirects. There is no additional registration or separate approval process required.
Transactions starting from AED 100 can qualify, making the service applicable to a broad range of purchases. Once an eligible transaction is selected, customers can split the payment into four or eight monthly instalments directly through their existing Emirates NBD credit card.
How 0% Instalments in UAE Benefit Merchants
The offering is designed to remove friction associated with traditional instalment products. Consumers no longer need to register for a separate service or complete an additional application before receiving financing.
For Network International, the launch adds another flexible-payment option to its portfolio. The company noted that Slice helps participating merchants respond to changing consumer payment preferences.
It also creates opportunities to attract customers and increase spending. By embedding the instalment option within the existing card payment experience, merchants can offer flexible payments without requiring customers to leave the checkout journey.
Navneet Dave, Group Managing Director at Network International, stated that Slice was developed to provide a seamless experience. He noted the solution is intended to strengthen Emirates NBD's card proposition while improving customer engagement.

The service is offered through a partnership with Emirates NBD, whose eligible credit cardholders can access the instalment option. Rohit Garg, Group Head of Retail Products at Emirates NBD, added that the solution gives customers greater control over how they manage spending.
The partnership brings flexible payments into an existing banking product. This avoids requiring customers to adopt a separate financing service.
The launch comes as flexible payment options become an increasingly important part of digital commerce in the UAE. For consumers, these products provide greater control over cash flow by spreading costs over several months.
For merchants, flexible payments act as a tool for improving the checkout experience. This strategy can potentially increase customer conversion and total spending.
Slice's integration represents a growing market trend. It successfully combines an existing card relationship with a more flexible repayment structure.
Why Network International matters to MENA
Network International and Emirates NBD's partnership highlights the continued evolution of embedded consumer finance across MENA. Rather than requiring consumers to apply for a separate buy-now-pay-later product, Slice embeds functionality into an existing credit card.
That distinction matters as banks and fintechs compete to make digital payments more flexible. The goal is to innovate without adding friction to the customer journey.
The UAE is one of the region's most advanced digital-payment markets. It serves as an important testing ground for new payment experiences that could eventually expand across MENA.
The launch shows how financial institutions are combining traditional banking with fintech-enabled functionality. For merchants, the ability to offer zero-interest instalments from AED 100 provides a powerful tool for attracting customers.
This is particularly effective for higher-value purchases where payment flexibility influences decisions. Consumer finance is increasingly embedded directly into payment journeys, allowing for better accessibility.
