Saudi Fintech Rabeh Raises $8.5M to Build Investment Platform

Saudi Fintech Rabeh Raises $8.5M for Investment

Saudi fintech Rabeh has raised $8.5 million from angel investors to build a digital platform combining AI, financing, tokenization, and trading.

Founded in 2022 by Mohammed Alsolami, Rabeh is building an integrated investment platform for financing, tokenization, and smart trading of real-world assets (RWA) and equity shares. The company plans to use AI to match entrepreneurs with relevant investment opportunities while making it easier for investors to discover deals aligned with their preferences.

Building a Digital Investment Ecosystem

Access to capital remains a challenge for early-stage businesses, particularly when founders struggle to reach suitable investors or navigate fragmented fundraising processes. Rabeh aims to bring entrepreneurs and investors into a single digital environment where opportunities can be discovered and financing facilitated.

For founders, the platform is designed to improve visibility among potential investors. For investors, it aims to streamline the process of finding and evaluating opportunities that match their investment interests. The company’s ambition extends beyond startup fundraising, as its platform will incorporate tokenization and trading tools, creating a broader digital marketplace for investment opportunities.

Leveraging AI and Tokenization

AI is expected to play a central role in Rabeh’s platform, particularly in matching entrepreneurs with relevant investors and improving deal discovery. The company is also developing tokenization capabilities.

In financial markets, tokenization involves representing rights associated with an asset or investment digitally, potentially allowing those rights to be managed or transferred through technology platforms. By combining financing, AI, tokenization, and trading, Rabeh is positioning itself around multiple parts of the investment process rather than focusing solely on fundraising.

Growth in the Saudi Fintech Market

Rabeh’s funding comes as Saudi Arabia continues to develop its fintech ecosystem and digital financial infrastructure. The startup’s model could have implications beyond conventional startup financing if it succeeds in bringing enough entrepreneurs and investors onto the same platform.

That network effect will be critical. A marketplace connecting both sides of the investment equation needs a steady supply of credible opportunities as well as active investors willing to participate.

Why Saudi Fintech Rabeh Matters to MENA

Rabeh’s model reflects a broader shift in MENA’s financial technology sector toward digital investment infrastructure. Rather than building another standalone fundraising tool, the Saudi startup is attempting to combine capital access, investment discovery, tokenization, and trading within one platform.

If successful, that could make Rabeh relevant to a wider range of investment activity, particularly as digital representations of real-world assets and equity become more prominent. The immediate challenge, however, is execution.

Rabeh will need to turn its $8.5 million raise into a functioning marketplace with meaningful deal flow, credible participants, and sufficient liquidity. Its product rollout, the financial instruments eventually supported by its tokenization technology, and the effectiveness of its AI-powered matching will offer a clearer picture of how far the company can take the model.
