The companies are targeting businesses that want to modernize their IT environments, launch digital services, or move workloads to cloud infrastructure. This approach ensures data remains hosted and managed within the country.

Expanding Local Cloud Services Tunisia

The partnership gives each company a distinct role in the proposition. Focus Tunisie brings the underlying cloud infrastructure, including scalable IT resources and technical expertise.

Orange Tunisia provides the customer-facing layer. They use their B2B teams and enterprise relationships to make the services available to a wider range of Tunisian companies.

That model allows Focus to extend its cloud business. Simultaneously, it gives Orange a broader infrastructure portfolio for customers pursuing digital transformation.

Benefits for Tunisian Businesses

Ahmed Ben Said, chief business officer at Orange Tunisia, said the agreement strengthens the company’s ICT and cloud offering. It also gives businesses access to technical support from Orange’s B2B teams.

Upgrade

Imen Nabli, chief commercial officer at Focus Cloud, said combining Focus’s cloud expertise with Orange Tunisia’s commercial reach would make cloud adoption more accessible to local companies.

Customers will be able to use cloud resources hosted in Tunisia, with scalable capacity that can be adjusted as their requirements change.

Supporting Local Digital Infrastructure

The offering is designed around data-location control, security, application performance, and local technical support. Businesses can use the infrastructure to modernize existing systems or support new digital applications without having to manage all of the underlying hardware themselves.

Strategic Infrastructure Distribution

The agreement is significant because it combines infrastructure capability with distribution. Focus gains access to Orange Tunisia’s established business customer base.

Orange can offer customers cloud infrastructure without having to build the entire proposition independently. For Tunisian businesses, that creates another option for adopting cloud services with a provider relationship and technical support closer to home.

Why it Matters to Africa

The partnership also reflects a model that could become more common across African technology markets. Telecom operators are increasingly teaming up with specialized cloud providers to bring enterprise cloud services to local businesses.

As companies move more workloads online, the ability to combine connectivity, cloud infrastructure, and local technical support could become an important competitive advantage for African providers.
