MoneyHash and Geidea Boost MENA Payment Infrastructure

MoneyHash and Geidea Boost MENA Payment Infrastructure

MoneyHash and Geidea have partnered to help businesses simplify their MENA payment infrastructure. This collaboration provides unified access to regional payment capabilities across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Egypt through a single integration.

Businesses operating across the Middle East often face the same payment problem. Entering a new market can mean connecting to another payment provider, adding another integration, and maintaining another piece of infrastructure.

MoneyHash and Geidea are looking to simplify that process.

Streamlining MENA Payment Infrastructure

The two fintechs have partnered to give businesses using MoneyHash access to Geidea’s online payment gateway and supported payment methods across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Egypt through their existing MoneyHash integration.

That means merchants can add Geidea without building and maintaining a separate direct connection to the payment provider. MoneyHash provides a payment orchestration layer that allows businesses to manage multiple payment providers and methods through a unified infrastructure.

The Geidea partnership adds another regional provider to that stack. It gives merchants access to Geidea’s capabilities while keeping their payment operations within the MoneyHash environment.

For businesses expanding across markets, this can reduce the need to build separate integrations as their payment requirements grow.

“Businesses should be spending their time building great products, serving customers, and growing into new markets, not repeatedly rebuilding and maintaining payment infrastructure,” said Nader Abdelrazik, CEO and Co-founder of MoneyHash.

The partnership was announced at Seamless Middle East in Dubai. There, Abdelrazik and Pankaj Kundra, CEO of Geidea UAE, marked the collaboration.

Regional Payment Ecosystem Growth

Founded in Saudi Arabia in 2008, Geidea operates across several parts of the regional payments ecosystem. It provides acquiring services in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, payment aggregation in Egypt, and an online payment gateway supporting local and international payment methods.

Adding those capabilities to MoneyHash’s orchestration layer gives merchants another route to payment infrastructure across three major markets. This helps streamline operations in a complex regional landscape.

“At Geidea, we believe payments should be effortless, giving businesses the freedom to focus on growth,” said Kundra. “Our collaboration with MoneyHash makes Geidea’s payment capabilities easier to access through a flexible, connected infrastructure.”

Why it Matters to MENA Businesses

Payment infrastructure becomes more complicated as companies expand. Different markets have different payment methods, providers, and customer preferences, making a single integration strategy harder to maintain.

MoneyHash’s model abstracts some of that complexity. Meanwhile, the Geidea partnership expands the payment capabilities available through that layer.

For merchants, the practical value is flexibility. They can add another regional payment provider without necessarily rebuilding the rest of their payment stack.

As digital commerce grows across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Egypt, partnerships that connect existing payment infrastructure could make it easier for businesses to expand across borders. This reduces the technical complexity of entering each new market.
