Saudi game studio Majestic Mind Games has raised $1.45M from Merak Capital and Impact46 to develop original titles for global gaming markets. This investment marks a significant milestone for the studio as it scales its operations internationally.
The Vision Behind Majestic Mind Games
Founded in Jeddah by Lujain Albukhari and Majed Anbar, Majestic Mind Games develops original games primarily for PC, with selected titles also being adapted for console and mobile platforms. The studio’s core team includes lead artist Samaher Bantan and game programmer Mohammed Baeshen.

The company said its games are built around entertainment while encouraging curiosity, creativity and independent thinking. Its portfolio is part of a broader strategy to develop original intellectual property that can reach audiences beyond Saudi Arabia.
The latest funding will support the studio’s game development pipeline, including the creation of new intellectual property and the expansion of its titles across international markets. Majestic Mind Games has previously received backing from NEOM.
Growth of the Saudi Gaming Sector
The investment comes as Saudi Arabia’s gaming industry continues to develop as part of the Kingdom’s broader push to build a domestic digital economy and strengthen its creative industries. Local studios are increasingly seeking to move beyond serving the domestic market by developing original games with international commercial potential.
For Merak Capital and Impact46, the investment reflects growing interest in Saudi gaming companies capable of combining creative development with commercial execution.

Merak Capital said its investment decision was influenced by the studio’s combination of originality, commercial discipline and long-term execution capabilities.
The funding also highlights the growing role of Saudi investors in supporting locally founded gaming studios as the Kingdom seeks to establish a stronger position in the global games industry.
With fresh capital behind its development pipeline, the company will focus on creating and commercialising new titles while expanding the reach of Saudi-developed intellectual property to players in international markets.
Why it matters to MENA
Saudi Arabia is investing heavily in gaming as part of its broader effort to diversify its digital and creative economy. The funding is significant because it supports homegrown intellectual property, rather than simply expanding existing international gaming products in the Kingdom.
The deal also points to a maturing Saudi gaming ecosystem, where local studios are increasingly targeting global audiences and commercial markets. For MENA, this could create more opportunities for game developers, artists, programmers and other creative-technology professionals across the region.
The investment also aligns with the Kingdom’s ambitions to become a major global gaming hub, potentially strengthening Saudi Arabia’s position as a source of locally developed entertainment IP and technology.
