How to Raise Pre-Seed Funding

Startup investment across Africa and the GCC has shown renewed momentum, but the money is flowing more selectively than before. Africa attracted more than US$3.2 billion in startup funding in 2025, according to data analysed by Nanyang Technological University, while the GCC—led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE—continued to attract billions of dollars in venture capital as governments, sovereign funds and private investors doubled down on innovation-led growth.
