Google Cloud Has Unveiled Gemini Enterprise for AI in the Workplace Platform

Google Cloud has unveiled Gemini Enterprise, a powerful new AI platform designed to be the “front door” for AI in the workplace, streamlining workflows and empowering smarter automation across organizations.

Announced during a virtual press conference, Gemini Enterprise brings together Gemini models, first- and third-party agents, and Google Agentspace core technologies into a single, unified system. Its goal is to democratize AI agent creation and simplify how businesses deploy and manage intelligent tools for everyday operations.

Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, explained that customers are evolving beyond simply building AI applications; they are now “advancing to build agents.” Gemini Enterprise supports that evolution by providing a cohesive interface where developers and non-technical teams can create, deploy, and manage AI agents using a no-code workbench.

The platform is built around six key pillars:

  • The Brains: Powered by Google’s advanced Gemini models, including the newly launched Gemini 2.5 Flash Image.
  • The Workbench: A no-code agent creation tool based on Agentspace for managing automated workflows.
  • The Taskforce: Pre-built AI agents like Code Assist Agent and Deep Research Agent are tailored for specialized business functions.
  • Deep Data Integration: Connectors linking platforms like Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, Box, Confluence, and Jira, enabling contextual intelligence.
  • Governance and Security: A unified security framework with Model Armor for auditing and protection.
  • Open Ecosystem: A network of over 100,000 partners supporting integrations and scalable AI use cases.

During a live demo, Maryam Gholami demonstrated Gemini Enterprise in action through a custom “campaigns agent.” The system coordinated four AI agents to manage market research, media creation, communications, and inventory tracking,  identifying a sci-fi trend, detecting a 25% inventory gap, generating purchase orders, and automatically creating social media assets.

“Gemini Enterprise is more than just a chat interface,” Gholami said. “It’s an end-to-end AI system that unifies your data, your tools, and your teams,  turning weeks of complex work into a single, streamlined conversation.”
