The high-level seminar was officially opened by Mark-Alexandre Doumba, Gabon's Minister of Digital Economy, Digitalization and Innovation. He underscored the growing importance of satellite technologies in building a resilient, secure, and future-ready digital economy.
He noted that as digital transformation accelerates globally, satellite infrastructure is becoming a strategic national asset capable of supporting connectivity, security, public services, and economic development.
