Egnyte launches a new suite of enterprise AI automation tools, including governed AI agents and no-code solutions designed to automate complex content management and compliance workflows.
The launch reflects a growing shift in enterprise AI adoption, where businesses are moving beyond AI-assisted productivity toward fully automated workflows that remain secure, auditable, and compliant. Rather than introducing separate governance tools, Egnyte has embedded AI automation directly into its existing content management platform.

This enables organizations to leverage their current permissions, access controls, and compliance policies. The release introduces three core capabilities: Bulk Extraction, Agent Builder, and Workflow Builder.

According to Egnyte, the tools are designed to simplify AI adoption by allowing organizations to automate workflows without adding additional governance layers or requiring extensive technical expertise.

The capability transforms contracts, reports, invoices, policies, and other enterprise files into structured, searchable data while preserving existing access controls.

By eliminating manual tagging, organizations can improve document discoverability and reduce administrative workloads without exposing sensitive information. Egnyte also introduced Agent Builder, a natural language-based tool that enables organizations to create custom AI agents or deploy pre-built agents from the Egnyte Agent Marketplace without requiring software development skills.
All AI agents operate within Egnyte's governance framework. This ensures enterprise data remains protected while providing complete audit trails for every AI-driven action, helping regulated industries like finance and healthcare deploy assistants safely.
No-Code Workflow and Compliance
The new Workflow Builder provides a no-code environment for automating document-centric business processes, including compliance approvals and contract management. Organizations can combine conditional logic and human approval checkpoints to automate tasks while maintaining regulatory oversight.
Egnyte has also redesigned its AI Workspace, bringing together its AI Assistant, AI agents, and Agent Marketplace within a single interface. This allows users to generate and refine documents using governed data without switching between applications.
