Speaking to reporters, Dr. Yehya Othman, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Business LOBBY, revealed that the company plans to launch a specialised entrepreneurship training academy within the next six months.
The academy will be established in partnership with Edafa Venture Capital and will focus on introducing children and young people to entrepreneurship, innovation, and startup development at an early stage. The initiative aims to nurture entrepreneurial talent, promote innovation-led thinking, and encourage more young Egyptians to pursue startup ventures.
According to Othman, the academy represents the next phase of Business LOBBY's strategic partnership with Edafa Venture Capital, following the investment firm's acquisition of a stake in the company in October 2025. The investment is expected to strengthen Business LOBBY's capacity to develop new entrepreneurship programmes and broaden its support services for early-stage founders.
Business LOBBY currently provides a range of services designed to help startups navigate the challenges of launching and scaling businesses. These include entrepreneurship training, startup coordination, mentorship, networking opportunities, and access to incubation programs.
The platform also organises workshops, lectures, panel discussions, and networking events that connect entrepreneurs with investors, venture capital firms, funding institutions, and industry experts. In addition, it hosts startup competitions aimed at identifying promising ventures, improving founders' investment readiness, and helping businesses secure growth opportunities.
